How to smudge makeup

This is probably the simplest and fastest way to add/make makeup that lil bit creepier...

Open an image and zoom in...

With your smudge tool set the brush at about 3-4. I focused on the right eye first, my goal it to wing it out a lil more. With your smudge tool gently drag the existing black makeup out to the right like I did... once you are happy with the result do the other eye... (note.. be careful around hair and also keep in mind for this clown one u don’t need to make it even) you can also smudge out near the tear duct, this will also add a longer more pointed look..

You will be doing the same technique to the lips... start with the upper lip and follow the natural curve, dont do too much at a time our u might loose the look.. Follow with the lower lip line then work on the other side... i myself like to slightly make the upper lips centre pointier as well.

Now that that is done u will be coloring the lips... create a new layer...i used a dark gray and with my brush tool painted over the lips...once u have painted the lips you can change the opacity and the mode to anything u want.. I set mine at hard light with opacity of about 70... I then erased around the lips so only the lips had color on them...

On another new layer u will be adding the clown dots. With your brush set to about 3 with hardness at 0% place your dots anywhere... i always add them around the eyes and sometimes the mouth. You can play with the opacity to make them look more natural.

I also added very prominent dark red spots to the cheeks... i did the same process with these as i did the black dots. Create a new layer select a bigger brush this time and then select a color... i used Linear Burn for the cheeks and i also blured them a lil...

Merge your layers then make a duplicate layer and set the top layer to hard light or overlay... this will now deepen the image colors and set more of a contrast... (Please note. I smoothed out the skin a lil with my smudge tool so it didn’t look too pixel)

You’re pretty much done... Make the image your own and add whatever u like... i myself added this bc i think its kinda funny!!!
